Rebecca Blackburn Update

I have an update for Becky if you would please post it on 911 cares and ask for continued support and prayers. Becky is definitely fighting with all her will but she's hit a rough patch:

Becky has finished chemo and radiation, for now. Afterwards she had about a month to heal and then Becky had her surgery on Nov. 2. The doctor removed the cancerous tumor, set up the colostomy, and did a biopsy on some suspicious lymph nodes. She had her staples removed on Monday, Nov 12 and was told the results of the tests from the surgery: that she is stage 3 and the new lymph node returned positive for cancer. After her incisions heal, they're taking longer than they should, she will be doing more chemo.

She misses everyone at work and everyone misses her. Her entire life has revolved around our department and it is difficult for our little "family" to be separated by such illness and it is very difficult for her to not be active right now. Becky continues to pray and ask for prayers and thoughts. Thank you for all of your continued support.
