Dispatcher Takes Call of Husband in Full Arrest
Dear 911 CARES,
I have coworker who performed a special task in our communications division. Please read below.
Kirsten is a 911 supervisor at the local sheriff's office. On February 9, 2011 she received a call in reference to full arrest. She immediately realized that it was her husband needing assistance and began CPR instructions immediately. Kirsten never lost her composure and was never even acknowledged for the hard task that she performed. She lost her husband that day and returned to work shortly after. I feel that she deserves something in her unselfish act. I don't know many people that could have done it. Thank you.
Do you know someone that I can send this to that would give her the recognition she definitely deserves. She is the backbone in our workplace and we are supporting her 100%

The communications director is Jimmy Williamson. She did EMD the call and I know that even now it has an affect on her when she takes a full arrest call.
