Bay County Central Dispatcher's Daughter's Medical Emergency

Just before Thanksgiving one of our dispatchers was told by her 7 year old daughter that she was having really severe headaches. Being that she has already had kidney problems she thought that she was having migranes brought on by the meds was the primary concern. As time progressed the frequency and severity of the headaches increased. Just days before Christmas she was diagnosed with a brain tumor and was operated on at University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor.

The tumor was found to be malignant and they believe they got almost all of it. The remainder will be taken care of with radiation/chemo. This will entail a long stay in the Ann Arbor area which is about 100 miles south of her home in Bay City, MI. This will be very expensive and time consuming for her and her family. The dispatchers name is Denise Williams and her daughter is Jordyn. Denise is a 2 year employee of Bay County Central Dispatch in Bay City Michigan
