Fresno County (CA) Sheriff's Office Suffers an Unexpected and Tragic Loss

Denise DePew, 49 and a 30-year veteran dispatcher of the Fresno County Sheriff's Office, passed away unexpectedly. When she failed to show up for work on Monday, December 26th, deputies were sent to her home to check on her where she was discovered deceased. Denise was a second generation dispatcher, following in her mother's footsteps. She touched many lives and leaves a powerful legacy with her passing.
