CA Dispatcher & Son in Need of Support

My name is Andrea Lannen and I work at the Federal Interagency Communications Center in San Bernardino, CA.  My supervisor and friend, Sandy Nieman, often follows stories on 911 Cares and alerts others in our office to personal tragedies faced by others in the dispatch community.

In the early morning hours of Saturday, February 20, Sandy's seventeen year old son Trevor was a very bad auto accident.  It was a rollover, and he was ejected.  He is expected to live but has sustained numerous injuries to his entire body.    He is currently in a medically induced coma with possible brain damage, an injured lung, several broken bones, and extensive damage to his spleen.    We ask you to keep Sandy in your thoughts/prayers.

Cards or sympathy wishes can be sent to our office 602 South Tippecanoe Street, San Bernardino, CA 92408 (Attn: Sandy Nieman, FICC)

Thank You,

Andrea Lannen
FICC Dispatcher
