York County (PA) Dispatcher in Need

911 Cares,

I am requesting a 911 Activation for one of our Supervisors.

Noah Myers, age 30, a midnight Supervisor for York County, PA 911, suffered cardiac arrest shortly after arriving at Hanover Hospital. Noah had become ill at home, just hours prior to a scheduled overtime shift. He called his wife, Lorie, a QA Supervisor at York County and requested that she return home and take him to the doctor’s. By the time Lorie had arrived near home, Noah could not wait and was transported by his brother to the hospital. By the time Lorie arrived, Noah had been resuscitated. He was then air lifted to Penn State Hershey Medical Center where he underwent cardiac treatment. It was discovered that Noah had 80% blockage to his heart. Noah has since been in and out of the hospital with reoccurring cardiac events. He has started cardiac therapy through Hanover Hospital.

Cards and well wishes can be sent to York County 911, 120 Davies Drive, York, PA 17402. Attn: Supervisor Doug Eash.

Noah and Lorie are the parents of two children and monetary contributions are also being requested to offset medical expenses. Please make checks payable to Noah C. Myers. We would appreciate your thoughts and prayers for the Myers family during their healing process. Questions and comments can also be forwarded to dleash@ycdes.org

Thank you!
