Cabarrus County (NC) Coordinator Loses Son

It is with regret that I pass along the tragic death of Smith Snuggs, the two year old son of Cabarrus County 911 Address Coordinator Lee Snuggs.  Smith was visiting a family member’s house in Stanly County on Thursday afternoon, and at some point during the visit he was able to quickly slip away and fell into their swimming pool.  He was treated at the scene and taken to a local hospital, however unfortunately they were not able to revive him.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 4 from 1:30 through 3:30 at Hartsell Funeral Home (Albemarle, NC) with graveside services following at 4:00 at Randall United Methodist Church (Norwood, NC).
