Morgan County (TN) Dispatcher Loses Home to Fire Dear 911CARES, Last night Dispatcher Larry Queener's house burnt to the ground and they have lost everything they have. Larry and his wife have one 14 yo daughter that is living at home, and they also have custody of their 3yo grand daughter. They were out of town when this happened and all they have is a what they had with them for their two day trip. We are taking donations here at the office for them, and we are working on other ways to receive donations for them at this time. Dispatcher Larry Queener has been with Morgan County 9-1-1 going on five years. They have a daughter that is 14 years old living at home with them and they have custody of their three you grand-daughter who also is living with them. They had just completed their Christmas shopping for their kids and family and they lost all of this is the fire. Our 9-1-1 center received the call about 2:50 this morning from a neighbor stating that Mr. Queener's house was on fire. When the fire department arrived on scene the house was fully engulfed in flames, and it was a total loss. They are still unsure at this time what caused the fire. We are taking donations at our office at this time and we are in the process of looking into other ways to take donations. Donations will go to cover food, clothes, and other necessities that are not covered by insurance. If you would like to make a donation by check, please make the check to Larry Queener. You can mail the check to Morgan County 9-1-1 c/o Queener Family Relief Fund. Checks will have to be made out to Mr. Queener, due to our states revenue standards. If you have any questions please contact me. If 911 Cares could help this family out, I know they would appreciate it and we would to. If you have any questions, email me. If you would like to send cards or make a donation at this time you can send them to:
Once again we appreciate any help 911 Cares could give the Queener family. Respectfully on behalf of the Queener family and the Dispatchers of Morgan County 9-1-1,
