Washington County (MD) Dispatcher in Need

My name is Anthony Barnes ECS with the Washington County Emergency Communications Center in Washington County, MD. I spoke briefly with you on Wednesday at the 911 Day of Celebration at the Kent Island fire dept. in Queen Annes County, MD.

I am writing because I would to add our co-worker Jim Blevins to the 911 CARES activations. Jim has been employed with Washington County for approx 25 years, and several months ago he was diagnosed with colon cancer. Upon further examination by the Doctors they noticed that some of it moved to his liver. Jim has been out of work for several months now while he is undergoing chemo.

We all know here that he is going to pull through and be back with us very soon. We are asking for help from your site to help lift Jims spirits with cards from fellow 911 centers and some financial donations to help with the burdens of the medical bills that Jim is undoubtedly accumulating. Jim is a very proud man and would never ask for this himself but we think he would really appreciate anybody that lets him know that he is cared for. Please let me know if there is anything else or any other info you may need from me.
