Death of a SC Dispatcher

Please be in prayer for SCHP and Dillon County E9-1-1 as they mourn the passing of one of their own.

Gerald Edwin "Eddie" Hayes Jr, 34, passed away August 9, 2010 from a massive heart attack.

Eddie was hired in 1999 as a Dillon County 9-1-1 Dispatcher. In 2006, he moved to SCHP as a dispatcher where he remained until his passing. In 2007 (until present), Eddie was hired back part-time at Dillon County 9-1-1.

Funeral arrangements:
Wednesday, August 11, Cooper Funeral Home 6:00- 8:00 p.m
Thursday, August 12 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home
