Redwood City, CA Dispatcher Attacked in Her Own Home Needs Support Tillamook, Oregon Dispatch Suzy Jones was recently attacked in her own home. The agency is asking for cards, prayers and encouragement. You can also make a donation directly to Suzy if you wish. The address and details are listed below. Tillamook County Emergency Communications Dispatcher Suzy Jones, has been with us almost 2 years; she is one of the kindest, most generous people you will ever meet. Early on Monday morning after she completed her shift at the dispatch center, she was attacked in her home while she slept on the couch. She has sustained some very serious injuries, including 3-4 large lacerations on her head, severe bruising all over her body, a shattered elbow and several other fractures. The incident is still under investigation. Suzy is a single woman who provides for herself. She could use as much encouragement and love as possible. Even though we have short and long term disability and good health insurance her co-payments and normal monthly bills are starting to mount, we have set up a fund at Wells Fargo Bank in Suzy’s name. Please let me know if there is anything the 911 Cares is able to help us with. We need to let Suzy know what a strong community 911 is and even though we are not always logistically close we are family and take care of each other. Make checks to the Suzy Jones relief fund.
