13 Year Glendora (CA) Veteran in Need of Support

911 CARES,

I work for the Glendora Police Department in California and I am writing about a co-worker who is in need of support.  Marisol Rilloraza, 13 year veteran dispatcher/jailer/ court officer with our department was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer.  Marisol is a 41 year old wife, mother of 4 (including one with special needs), sister, and friend.  She recently had a mastectomy, which they also removed 13 of her lymph nodes, and it was discovered the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes, bones, and her liver.  The cancer is very aggressive and Marisol has quite the battle ahead of her.  She started Chemo 2 weeks ago and will continue that once every 3 weeks for the next 8 months.  Marisol is a tenacious, determined, and strong woman and has a lot of support from her family, friends, and co-workers however I would like to ask for more support from her extended dispatch family out there.  I will keep you updated as more information comes available.  Thank you in advance for anything you can do to help out our friend.

Cards and letters of support and encouragement are greatly appreciated.
