Kristina RodgersKristina's Update

Dear 911 Cares,

First of all, I'd like to thank you for posting Kristina's story on your 9-1-1 Cares site.  She has received a couple of cards, and I'm sure plenty of prayers she isn't even aware of.

Kristina is doing as well as can be expected.  She has had several treatments now, and each time there are several days that she feels pretty sick.  After the 2nd or 3rd treatment, she began to lose her hair, so she decided to shave it all off.  Her husband, Paul, did so as well  to show his support.  I've attached a picture of their new look.

Kristina is still working whenever as often as she can and commutes a long distance from Ohio to the dispatch center in Detroit.  She remains upbeat and very positive that she will beat this.  She has several months of treatments left.  The treatments are every two weeks until the summer.

Please continue to keep Kristina in your thoughts and prayers.  Any cards, letters or notes of encouragement are appreciated and can be sent to my attention, and I will be sure she gets them.

I will update you on Kristina's progress again.  Thank you again for your thoughts & prayers.  If you cannot view the picture, please let me know and I will attempt to resend it.    Thank you.
