Dear 911 CARES

I would like to pass on information about a need in the 911 community here in Kentucky. John Conley, the Director of the Morgan County 911 center in West Liberty, Kentucky is in need of financial and certainly moral support from his 911 colleagues.

John’s wife Carolyn has been fighting congestive heart failure and congenital lung issues for quite some time.  Carolyn had a lung transplant in July of 2008.  Since then she has been in and out of the UK Medical Center and other facilities.  The doctors have recently informed her and her family that there is nothing left for them to do.

John has missed a lot of work over the last year as he has cared for his wife.  He has certainly received help from family, friends, coworkers etc., but he is reaching a breaking point and could certainly use some financial assistance and much needed encouragement and support.

If you would like to read about Carolyn and John’s journey you can visit their CaringBridge website at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/carolynconley

John’s email address is johnpliberty@gmail.com   Since he is in and out a lot between the hospital he checks this email address often.

John has been an active member of the 911 community in Kentucky for many years serving as the President of the Kentucky Chapter of KENA as well as being faithful in support of needed Legislation changes related to 911 in our state by lobbying our legislators.

I can think of no one that would deserve your assistance more than John. Please feel free to contact me if you need further information.
