Kootenai County (ID) Central Dispatch Loses a Co-worker

I am writing in reference to a co-worker, Alan Broden.  He passed away over the weekend at just 53 years old, after a lifelong battle with many medical ailments. He took a medical retirement in November of 2008 after working as a dispatcher since 1974.  He may have been limited by his physical conditions but the impact he had on the countless lives he touched was not restricted.  Alan won everyone over with his always present sense of humor and warm, helpful attitude.

Alan was an inspiration to all that worked with him.  He was the epitome of dedication to his beloved profession and will be missed greatly.

We have set up a benefit fund under Alans name at Wells Fargo Bank to help offset expenses his family is incurring.  Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo branch.
