Missouri Dispatcher Dispatches Her Own House Fire Dear 911 CARES: Could you please initiate a 9-1-1 CARES activation for Lisa and her family. Thanks Michael Kindle - MO-NENA This morning at 3:50 AM Marion Co 911 employee Lisa Potter's husband called 911 to report that their house was on fire. Lisa was on duty at 911 at the time and assisted in dispatching units to her own house until she was relieved and able to respond. Thankfully her husband Lonnie and daughters Kendall (age 6) and Madison (age 8) made it out of their home without injury, unfortunately their house is considered a total loss including all their clothing and personal belongings. The Red Cross is assisting with their immediate needs and has put them up at the Hannibal Days Inn and is working to get them vouchers for shoes and other personal items that they need. Their youngest daughter just had a birthday last week. We know their immediate needs include girls clothing in sizes 6 and 7, men's XL shirts and size 34 waist pants, women's XL shirts and size 18 pants. Anyone wanting to make contributions to help out Lisa and her family can drop clothing items off at the 911 Admin Offices at 801 Broadway in Hannibal (Hannibal Federal Building) or can contact 911 at 573-221-1121 or 573-221-1806. Anyone wishing to contribute money to the Potter family can send to PO Box 798, Hannibal, MO 63401. We will know more about what their other long term needs will be soon and will pass that information along to you. Thank you,
