CA Dispatcher's Son Injured in Iraq
Cotati Police Dispatcher Kim Kiernan got the news that her son Cpl Steven
Kiernan was injured in Iraq. He is currently at a hospital in
Bethesday Maryland. As a result of the roadside bomb, Steven lost one foot, and the other leg just above his knee.
The Cotati police (Northern California between San Francisco and Napa) is working to provide emotional and financial support for the family. If anyone has experience with a similar event, they could use a mentor with travel funding ideas, housing in Maryland and emotional support. The contact person at Cotati is Kirsten Ott.
A trust fund has been set up in his name at the Exchange Bank in Rohnert Park. Donations can be made at any Exchange Bank or maila checkto Cotati Police and they will make the deposit for you - see below for details.
