Kenneth Duckworth 1970 ~ 2008 Kenneth Paul Duckworth, age 37, was born October 8, 1970 to John and Robin Brannigan Duckworth, and was a "Military Brat." His father was a Master Sergeant in the Air Force and was shipped out all around the world. He was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident when a deer ran into the road and hit him on June 2, 2008. He met his eternal companion, Dawn Spencer in California and married her in the LDS Los Angeles Temple on November 27, 1992. Kenneth was currently working as the Communications and Alarms Coordinator for the University of Utah Police Department and also volunteered his time serving as the Friends of Scouting Chairman, Elder's Quorum instructor and the Varsity Advancement Chairman for the LDS church. He had a great love for camping, scouting and was very active in the community. He was currently serving as President Elect for the PTSA and running for a position on the West Jordan school board. He is survived by his wife; six young children, Michael, Spencer, Kaylee, Jonathan, Sarah, and Nathan; his parents; and sister, Tracy Shultz. Viewings will be held at the LDS church located on 6270 W. 7000 S. on Friday evening, June 6, 2008 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Sat. morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. The funeral will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the church.
