Janelle Reetz
MN State Patrol and Stearns County Dispatcher

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As some of you know Janelle Reetz unexpectedly died Tuesday evening at the age of 35.  For those of you who did not know Janelle,  she was a dispatcher for Stearns County and the State Patrol.  Janelle was married to Eric Reetz a Stearns County Deputy who is a member of lodge 17.  She is survived by her husband and two children.  Janelle has worked in the past as a dispatcher for the Meeker County Sherriff Office and then the Stearns County Sheriff Office.  She then went to work for the MN State Patrol as a dispatcher and stayed part time with Stearns County.  Janelle was also a
member of the Eden Valley Fire Department.

About a month ago Janelle had a blood clot travel from her leg thru her heart and went down.  She was revived and thought to have recovered.  She again went down on Tuesday and was not able to be revived.

A memorial fund has been set up in her name to help the family with any expenses that may occur.  The fund can be addressed as the Janelle Reetz Memorial Fund at the St Cloud City and County Credit Union, P.O. Box 715, St Cloud, MN 56302.

Visitation will be Friday, August 22 from 4:00-9:00 p.m. and the funeral will be Saturday, August 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the Eden Valley/Watkins High School located at 298 Brooks St N, Eden Valley.
