Lena Ramos Update!

Here is an update on our dispatcher Lena Ramos who was involved in a serious car accident on 11/20/2006. Shortly after the traffic accident Lena was advised that she would most likely not walk again. On 11/4/07, after nearly 11 weeks in the hospital, 2 surgeries, rehabilitation and countless hours of physical therapy, Lena was cleared to return to work. Lena is able to walk with the use of a cane which she hopes to kick aside in the very near future.

I spoke with Lena at shift change this morning and she asked that I relay her thanks to everyone for the cards, letters and telephone calls of encouragement during the past year.
