Kelly Daniels
Columbia County 9-1-1 (FL) Dispatcher Needs Our Help
Kelly is a well respected and loved dispatcher with Columbia County, Florida 9-1-1. She was in her house with her family when they realized the house was on fire. The reason for the fire has yet to be determined but there was a storm going through as the fire started. Kelly and her family were able to flee from the house and though there was no loss of life, the house and 100% of their belongings burned. The only thing that they have is their car and the clothes on their backs.
A side story. This is Kelly's house that was willed to her after her Mother's death. Mom had not insured the house or the contents so this family is truly in need. See the bottom of this notice for their clothing sizes!
Please consider cleaning out your closet or stopping by Wal-Mart and picking up a gift card. This family has NOTHING except a few clothes and items given by the Red Cross and the local Fire Department. Let's show this worthy family that 911 CARES!

Dear 911 CARES,
First, thank you for your time and efforts in helping one of our dispatchers in her time of need. Kelly has been working as a 911 dispatcher for five years. Her husband, Darnell, works doing skilled labor. She always gives 100% to her job and balances the needs of her co-workers just like the needs of her family. She greatly appreciates any assistance provided as she inherited the home that the fire destroyed and is on a limited income.
Her oldest daughter is a typical pre-teen and enjoys music, and Cheetah girls. Her two boys enjoy anything football related and Spiderman. She can use any type of gift card (Wal Mart) and funds to help her find a place to live. Checks can be made out to the family under Kelly Daniels and all donations should go to Columbia County Sheriff's Office (see address below) until she has a stable residence. At present, she is moving from different family members and does not have a phone.
Again, thank you for all of your help. Kelly's youngest just got out of the hospital due to medical issues and she has been having an extremely rough period. She is a great person and always goes above and beyond at work. We are very lucky to have her as a coworker.
If you need anything further, please feel free to contact me at my office.
Sincerely,
Sarah Wheeler
