Countess "CC" Carter Dear 911 CARES, I would like to make a 911 cares activation for one our dispatchers. Countess “CC” Carter’s house caught fire today due to an electrical problem. This happened while she was home sleeping. The fire started in the wall. When she woke up she went outside and accidentally locked herself out of the house. She called her son who is also a dispatcher for the City of Covington Fire Dept. He came home and opened the door to find the house full of thick black smoke. Had it been just a few more min. later when they opened the door the fire would have likely back drafted as all of the blinds and plastics inside the house were melted. The fire caused major damage to the kitchen and laundry room area. The rest of her house has some smoke and water damage. I know she and her son will need new stuff for the kitchen and also clothes as she was doing the laundry on her day off. Also if you need and more info please contact me and let me know what all you need and I will get that for you. If you need to call for any reason my cell phone # is (985) 966-1879. Thanks!!!!!!!!!
It is her and her son, Anthony. As I said before Anthony is a dispatcher/firefighter for the Covington Fire Dept. and also a part time dispatcher for us also. He is in his early 20’s. I don’t have any sizes as of yet but will get them to you as soon as I can.
