Anne Szutkowski
Lincoln County Sheriff's Department

On November, 28 at 1145 hours I received a call from Anne (one of my senior Dispatchers) telling me that her house had just been destroyed by fire. She had received a call from her husband who was working near their home that their house was on fire. Her husband arrived prior to the Fire Department and attempted to save their two dogs, but was unable to do so. When the Hatley and Ringle Volunteer Fire Departments arrived, the house fully involved. They lost both dogs and their house is a total loss. All that remains of the house is the exterior shell, the interior has been gutted to the point that the floor has fallen through.

Dispatcher Anne Szutkowski  went home immediately to find her house and belongings were a total loss. Anne lived at this home along with her husband, son and two dogs. Anne has been a loyal employee to Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department for over 7 years now and had just started training a new Dispatcher last month. We are trying to find her family and herself some much needed help. I have clothing sizes for her husband pants 32/32 shirts medium, shoes/boots 10 ½ their son age 15 pants 14 husky, shirts 12/14 shoes size 8. Anne has gotten enough clothes from family members but she still needs clothes for her son and husband.

A trust fund in the name of “Szutkowski Family Fire Fund” has been set up at Marathon County Employees Credit Union 400 E Thomas St , Wausau WI 54403 (715) 261-7680 for donations.

We are asking for any help for Anne and her family, right now the necessities, as they do not have a place for furniture or things as such as of yet. Anything you can give or provide is greatly appreciated, some people may only be able to provide kind words, or thoughts and prayer, never forget that is needed also. I will be the point of contact. We are also setting up a drop off point here at our 911 Center, if during business ours you can drop items off to the below address, or after hours you can call the below number and talk to the Dispatcher or ask them to patch you to the 911 Administrator for drop off information. Our center and the Szutkowski Family greatly thank you for any help you can provide.
