Scott Eldridge

01/12/06

Scott Eldridge had been a Police Dispatcher for 20 years with the Whittier Police Department.  Scott had just turned 50 and lived in the City of Whittier.  He was married to his wife for 26 years and had no major health problems.

On Sunday, January 8, 2006, Whittier Police Department received a devastating 9-1-1 call that Scott was not breathing.  His son performed CPR until help arrived. Scott was transported to Whittier Presbyterian Hospital and was on life support....The following day, Scott did not survive.... It is true when we say that the police department personnel are our extended family.
