Some of the nicest things we hear at PSTC/911CARES come from YOU...our 9-1-1 brothers and sisters! Here are a few unsolicited comments we recently picked up on an Internet Listserver:
"Hi. Just wanted to tell you guys, that if you haven't ordered a sweatshirt from the PSTC gang, you gotta.. they are so comfy, I love it..they run slightly big, but hey, I don't care; for once things don't run SMALL.. the pins are really nice too, and cheap. Baseball hats are awesome, and the spill proof cup is kewl too. I'm a happy camper, I get to wear my sweatshirt during NTW.. thanks PSTC gang..!!
I ordered some coffee mugs, and pens for the dispatchers here, as trinkets for NTW. They are great, I am probably going to order some sweatshirts to give out as prizes and stuff through the year. If the quality of the pens and mugs is any indicator, there is no way you will be dissatisfied.
Let me tell you that I have had the pleasure of meeting Kevin and Tracy and a few others from PSTC (911 Cares). They are great people and this site with things to order is AWESOME. I placed my order the other day and I am waiting for them to show up. I went with the Tee Shirts in hopes spring may make it to the north East. I tell you another thing to order is the Voices of 9-11 Video. It is totally incredible. An Awesome training tool. Our 911 Coordinator is buying one for our center. Great stuff!
I've had the pleasure of meeting them too, don't think I've met Tracy, but I've met Kevin and Richard, THEY ARE super people. I sure wish they would come back to Iowa for spring or fall APCO convention. I think the pink pelicans, and the Iowa Sweet Corn is preventing them from entering the State. Just kidding. We welcome them any time.. obtw, have you read "Under the Headset" by Richard (Behr)? Awesome book, I highly recommend it.
